Answers to the most frequently asked questions
Since 09/01/2017, Citi has eight offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Campinas, Belo Horizonte, Ribeirão Preto and Brasília to serve corporate customers. Therefore, the services provided in the branches are no longer offered.
The corporate offices will not provide banking branch services, as they will be dedicated to specific services. If you have any doubt, see the list of services provided by Citi in Brazil.
Since 09/01/2017, the following services are available in the corporate offices:
- Withdrawal or delivery of checking account opening, exchange, loan and general payment vouchers documentation.
- Withdrawal of cashier’s manager check (only in the corporate offices of São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro).
It means that the check can be used only for deposit in a checking account or payment of bills in another bank. In addition, the check cannot be used for cash withdrawals and the crossing cannot be annulled.
If your company did not use the check service within the past two years, the delivery of the checkbook will not be automatic. Therefore, you should request this service via CitiService (if the company intends to hire the service).
You should contact the CitiService from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., via telephones (11) 2109 2484, in the City of São Paulo, or 0800 709 2484, in other regions, to check the address registered in the system. If it is out of date, you will need to open a ticket to change the address.
If a new checkbook needs to be issued, contact CitiService to request it, from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., via telephones (11) 2109 2484, in the City of São Paulo, or 0800 709 2484, in other regions.
The delivery time of checkbooks is five to seven business days from the date of the request.
