CHECK DEPOSIT IN A CHECKING ACCOUNT
The service of check deposit in a checking account has a new way of use and collection points to delivery, being now offered in four cities of the country: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.

Since 09/01/2017, the deposit of checks is carried out exclusively through the collection points of ABBC - Brazilian Banks Association.
The check deposit in a checking account must be carried out by sending pouches delivered by duly authorized bearers of your company, to the collection points, with a remittance letter and the checks for deposits.
See how to use the check deposit service, if your company does not use this service yet:
- Notify your Relationship Manager about your intention to use this service;
- Sign the letter of authorization to the bearers who will realize the delivery and withdrawal of the pouches with the checks;
- Send the original authorization letter, together with the bearers IDs, to Citi Clearing (see the address information) and a copy of those documents via email (clearing2017@citi.com);
- Select the most convenient location for your company among the four available ones and pick up the kit to start using the service;
- More than one collection point in different cities can be used. However, you are not able to deposit checks in cities other than those four options offered;
- After picking up the kit, start using the service in accordance with the instructions included in the service usage flow;
- Returned checks are available at the same locations that they were first delivered, also through pouches and authorized bearers.
